Edaphosaurus (Ed-daf-oh-sor-rus)
He liked to eat veggies
though not potato wedgies
these had not been invented so many years ago
he ate other vegetation of the ‘Permian’ Nation
which he chewed with blunt teeth
and his belly broke down slow.
His sail was quite impressive
it might have been expressive
attracting mates to go on dates
who knows where things might go?
maybe it modified temperature?
or helped fight off a predator?
his boat’s sail that would’t fail
letting him go with the flow.
